Psalms 25:4-7
Make your ways known to me, O LORD, and teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me because you are God, my savior. I wait all day long for you. Remember, O LORD, your compassionate and merciful deeds. They have existed from eternity. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my rebellious ways. Remember me, O LORD, in keeping with your mercy and your goodness.”

We live in a day and age when we hold public figures such as politicians, actors, sports figures, to humanly impossible standards.

I have always been a good person, although not always a Godly person. I have done things in my youth and later in life of which I’m ashamed. In the movie of my life, there are scenes that I would gladly edit out.

Thanks be to God who loves us enough to mercifully forgive us. And more than forgive us, to forget our sins.*
