Bug out Bag Ready?

The current conditions of the world and the pandemic CORVID-19 has more people thinking about preparedness. Preppers world wide have some supplies readily available shoo that, in case an emergency requires them to flee their homes. These are often referred to as bugout bags, grab and go/run bags, or WUSH (wake up something is happening) bags. The idea, of course, is to be prepared to leave when you don’t have time for packing a suitcase. In Exodus 12:8-11 the Israelites were told by God to be ready to leave at his command. Exodus 12:8-11 8. And that night they shall eat the flesh, roasted by fire, and unleavened bread with wild lettuce. 9. You shall not consume anything from it raw, nor boiled in water, but only roasted by fire. You shall devour the head with its feet and entrails. 10. Neither shall there remain anything from it until morning. If anything will have been left over, you shall burn it with fire. 11. Now you shall consume it in this way: You shall gird your waist, and you shall have shoes on your feet, holding staves in your hands, and you shall consume it in haste. For it is the Passover (that is, the Crossing) of the Lord. In the same way, Jesus’s parables warn that we are to be ready, for the end may come in the twinkling of an eye. (Luke 12:35-36) 35. Let your waists be girded, and let lamps be burning in your hands. 36. And let you yourselves be like men awaiting their lord, when he will return from the wedding; so that, when he arrives and knocks, they may open to him promptly. (Mark 13:15-1) 15. And let whoever is on the rooftop not descend to the house, nor enter so as to take anything from the house. 16. And let whoever may be in the field not return to take his garment. (Mark 13:32-37) 32. But concerning that day or hour, no one knows, neither the Angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33. Take heed, be vigilant, and pray. For you do not know when the time may be. 34. It is like a man who, setting out on a sojourn, left behind his house, and gave his servants authority over every work, and instructed the doorkeeper to stand watch. 35. Therefore, be vigilant, for you do not know when the lord of the house may arrive: in the evening, or in the middle of the night, or at first light, or in the morning. 36. Otherwise, when he will have arrived unexpectedly, he may find you sleeping. 37. But what I say to you, I say to all: Be vigilant.” Prayer Lord, thank you for your promises. Lord, we invite your spirit into or hearts, to pitfall our spiritual to go bags. Amen. Also visit my other blogs
